Fusion Technology is the oldest hair extension system available. It enables the technician to custom make each individual hair strand to blend in with your own hair. Our fusion system uses a Keratin bond, not glue which is gentle, non invasive and easy to remove.

 

This method lasts 3-4 months and when it is removed the technician can re-apply the same hair saving the client hundreds of dollars. Maintaining the 100% Remy human hair in optimum condition with the SOSE range allows the client the flexibility of re-using the same hair for between 12-16 months. We have had clients use the same hair for longer periods, this all depends on length and conditions. Benefits include - natural looking, low cost, colour blending, tailor made.

 

Pre bonded technology is individual strands with the Keratin bond already attached. Application is relatively easy using a pre bonding machine which heats the bond allowing the technician to mould it around the clients hair and securing it in place. Benefits of the pre-bonded method are quick applications, easy removal, bonds easy to camouflage. This method will require removal after 3-4 months. AHC uses the same polymer in both the fusion and prebond technologies. Our keratin polymer is gentle and easily removed causing minimum disruption to your clients hair.

 

These two systems have one major difference - Fusion technology you are required to physically place the bond before application. Pre bonded technology comes with the bond already in place.

Micro Ring Technology is the most popular system currently used. There is no heat application at all. You use a capper ring-cylinder-bead-link to attach the hair to your clients hair. Even hair extension critics have begun to except that this method is applied easily, quickly and with no damage to your clients hair when applied correctly. With this method the client is required to have the extensions readjusted every 8-10 weeks. This method allows the client to re-use the hair, as long as it has been maintained and the tip has not been damaged. The benefits include - quick and easy application, no heat, highlights hair, no resin, thickens hair, reusable hair.

 

Australian Hair Company also supplies hair wefts/weaves. These can be sewn in, clipped in or micro ring attached which makes them a very enticing added service to offer your clients.

 

Over the years we have constantly been asked what does 'Remy/Remi' mean, which ever way it is spelt. Remy means that the cuticle on the hair is running in the same direction. This is important for a lot of reasons but most importantly for simply blending with our natural hair and not causing any friction which creates knotting or a Velcro like effect where the hair is simply too difficult to separate.
